Song of the Year "He Saw It All"
(Booth Brothers, written by Daryl Mosley)
10/10/2007
Ronnie Booth's CD is Here!!!  Through the years Ronnie has become known for his warm, smooth voice. This self-titled project captures that warmth and his laid-back, southern manner. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy songs that are pleasant and inviting and yet bring the message of God’s love. The instrumentation and vocals remind you, subtly, of that distinctive Booth Brothers sound and yet this album is unique in
its easy country feel. This collection will appeal to all ages and there’s something for everyone go to  Booth Brothers website for more detail & how to get your copy.

3/29/07 Booth Brothers in a Blizzard
Since our last email on the guys' plight in Wyoming, we have received many phone calls and emails asking about their welfare. Unfortunately, for most of today, none of us had heard anything (cell phone service was non-existant) - until early this evening when Jim finally called from a "senior center" somewhere in the mountains of Wyoming.

Here's what we know. On their way back from doing their concert tour in Canada, they arrived in Montana for a concert and then were on their way to their next concert in Iowa when they were traveling just outside the town of Sheridan, WY when somehow they got stuck on the highway due to heavy snow and windy conditions. Somehow, a police officer came along, but got stranded as well. Somehow, a group of school kids also came along and got stranded, too! The police officer "took over" our bus as a shelter for everyone (something apparently they can do in an emergency like this). Others came along as well. Soon, all food and water were gone on the bus. But somehow, a seniors' group put together sandwiches and drinks for everyone. Anyway, they ran out of fuel for the bus generator. Somehow, a few of them walked down to an abandoned wrecked semi and siphoned 26 gallons of fuel out of the truck. As of right now, they only have a few hours of fuel left.

To the rescue came Jim Brady of the Yukon! Somehow he was able to convince someone to drive him on a rescue snowmobile for an 18 mile ride that took them almost two hours to a convenience store. The rest of the group decided to remain on the bus. Somehow, the kids were able to leave the bus and return to safety (rumor has it that Michael refused to let them play the Xbox 360.)

The good news is that they're safe. And the REALLY good news is that we serve a "somehow" God. He is with them - as you can tell. No doubt, many more "somehows" are yet to happen. We'll keep you posted.

Right now, we do not know when they'll be able to leave. Pray for them since the fuel will be out shortly and they'll have to do something. The police are saying that the earliest window of opportunity to get out may be tomorrow, but they're not optimistic. We think Saturday is more likely.
3/30/07 Hello everyone! This is Kim, Ronnie's wife. On behalf of the family and the wives we just want to say thank you to all of you who have been praying for the guys. Many of you have emailed the office to express your concern and that means so much; we know your prayers would mean a lot to the guys - if only we could tell them. Please continue to pray for them as they are not out of this yet.

As you can see from some of the earlier posts, they are still stranded but it appears that there might be some break in the weather this afternoon. The roads are very bad, however, and we don't anticipate them being able to get on their way until some time tomorrow afternoon. If they are not completely out of fuel by now, then they are running very low. I don't think any of us wives will rest easy until we can at least talk to them. Until we heard from Jim last night the only information we had received (which was very little) was third hand. You can imagine our relief when we received news that they were still okay.

Thank you again for your prayers and all praise goes to the awesome God we serve!!

Kim Booth

PS: We just received a brief update that the snow is beginning to melt and it looks as though the wreckers are out on the highways. The guys are not the only ones stranded so they are simply waiting their turn in a whole line of vehicles being helped out of the snow. The appropriate people know that they are there and will get to them as soon as they can.

I'm sure this experience will provide much new material as they've been sitting in the same spot since Wednesday morning....all six of them...all together...one big happy family....all day....all night....since Wednesday morning....

Thank you all for your prayers,

Kim

A Wee Bit of Heaven

A wee bit of heaven

Drifted down from above

A handful of happiness

A heartful of love

A mystery of life

So sacred and so sweet

The giver of joy

So deep and complete.

Precious and priceless

So lovable too

The worls'd sweetest miracle

Baby, it's you.
